Responsibilities:
- Indoors: Houseplants, Decor, and Accessories
- Outdoor: Nursery, Hardscape, and Seasonal Plants
Depending on your professional background and interests, you will take charge of one of these areas and play an active role in shaping its future development. You can expect a wide variety of tasks, a motivated team, and the opportunity to contribute and implement your own ideas.
Your tasks:
- Independent organization and management of your area of responsibility
- Providing professional guidance, motivation, and professional development for a team of approximately 5 to 6 employees
- Responsibility for achieving agreed-upon goals and driving the financial growth of your division
- Ensuring an attractive and sales-promoting product display
- Active involvement on the sales floor and providing expert advice to customers
- Planning and conducting inventory counts
- Ongoing optimization of workflows and processes
- Ensuring high standards of service and quality
Your profile:
Focus on the outdoors
- Completed training or relevant professional experience in horticulture, plant care, floristry, or a related field
- Expertise in plants, tree nurseries, or seasonal plants
- A love of advising others and a passion for plants and nature
Focus on Indoor
- Work experience in retail, customer service, or sales
- Interest in plants, home décor, home accessories, or related product categories
- An eye for product presentation and the customer experience
In addition, you ideally have the following
- Previous experience in leading or coordinating a team is a plus
- A structured, independent, and organized approach to work
- Strong focus on customers and service
- Strong execution skills and a hands-on approach
- Proficiency in common computer applications
- Flexibility and willingness to handle a heavier workload during peak seasons
