What if today's waste could provide tomorrow's energy?

That is exactly what our client is working on: a technology that converts organic waste into clean energy sources. The scientific foundation has been laid—now the goal is to put this innovation into practice.

We are looking for a Junior Prototype & Testing Engineer (m/f/d) to help develop a new generation of reactor systems—someone with the drive and curiosity to turn concepts into working technical solutions.

Your tasks:

  • Support in the setup, preparation, and execution of tests on prototypes as well as laboratory and pilot plants
  • Assistance with experimental procedures, including data analysis, interpretation, and documentation of results
  • Support for troubleshooting and optimizing bioreactors and technical pilot systems
  • Conducting hydraulic and functional tests
  • Participation in hands-on workshops and prototyping activities, such as 3D printing or laser cutting
  • Preparation of test reports, technical documentation, and SOPs
  • Supporting quality-related processes and ensuring traceable documentation
  • Acting as a liaison between technical teams, external partners, and other stakeholders

Your profile:

  • A completed technical degree (HTL, FH, university) in bioengineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering, biotechnology, environmental engineering, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of anaerobic digestion, water/wastewater technology, or innovative reactor systems is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis and, ideally, CAD
  • A hands-on approach and a precise, structured way of working
  • Interest in hands-on development work and technical test facilities
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills are a MUST
  • A communicative person with a strong desire to learn and an interest in technology

We offer:

  • Contributing to innovative technologies in the field of sustainable energy and environmental solutions
  • Exciting development projects with a strong practical focus
  • A modern work environment in an international and technology-driven setting
  • Flat hierarchies and the freedom to take initiative in a dynamic team
  • Exciting career opportunities at a forward-thinking company
  • A gross monthly salary starting at EUR 4,000, with a willingness to pay significantly more depending on qualifications and experience

We look forward to receiving your application!
