Our client is a renowned pharmaceutical company. The production site in 1210 Vienna enjoys a special status within the company. Veterinary pharmaceuticals for Europe and the US market are produced here. Around 300 employees work at the site in the areas of production, laboratory and administration.
We are pleased to be able to fill the following position for the company:
Your tasks:
- Eigenverantwortliche Planung, Durchführung und GMP-konforme Dokumentation von analytischen Methoden (z. B. HPLC/UPLC, GC, UV/VIS, Dissolution, Karl Fischer) für Wirkstoffe, Rohmaterialien und Fertigprodukte gemäß ICH Q2(R2), USP <1225> und internen SOPs
- Conducting method validations and verifications
- Independently addressing methodological and device-specific challenges with access to a global network of experts
- Review and approval of laboratory records, protocols, and reports
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement (GMP, work processes, occupational safety)
Your profile:
- Education in chemical engineering or the natural sciences (e.g., an apprenticeship, HTL, or a degree in chemistry, pharmacy, food science, or biotechnology)
- At least 2 years of experience in performing analytical methods (particularly HPLC and dissolution testing) in a GMP environment
- In-depth knowledge of chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques (HPLC/UPLC, GC, UV/VIS, dissolution, Karl Fischer, particle size distribution)
- Practical training in the use of GMP analytical software (e.g., Waters Empower)
- Independent, proactive approach to work with prioritization and adherence to deadlines
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as the ability to assert oneself
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- High flexibility, resilience, and initiative

- A minimum gross salary of €3,463.06 (based on the collective bargaining agreement for the chemical industry). We are willing to offer a higher salary depending on qualifications and professional experience.
