Our client is one of the world's leading pharmaceutical groups. The Vienna site is a strategically important production site for veterinary pharmaceuticals, where around 400 specialized employees work in production, laboratory, administration and sales.

Your tasks:

  • Independent planning, execution, and GMP-compliant documentation of analytical methods such as HPLC/UPLC, GC, UV/VIS, dissolution, and Karl Fischer for active pharmaceutical ingredients, raw materials, and finished products
  • Durchführung von Methodenvalidierungen und -verifizierungen gemäß ICH Q2(R2), USP <1225> sowie internen SOPs
  • Analysis and resolution of methodological and instrument-specific issues in collaboration with internal and international experts
  • Technical support for complex root cause analyses related to out-of-specification (OOS) deviations, as well as involvement in CAPA and change management processes
  • Review and approval of laboratory records, protocols, and reports
  • Identification and implementation of opportunities for improvement in the areas of GMP, work processes, and occupational safety

Your profile:

  • Completed training in chemical engineering or the natural sciences, e.g., an apprenticeship, a degree from a technical college (HTL), or a degree in chemistry, pharmacy, food science, or biotechnology
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in performing analytical methods, particularly HPLC and dissolution testing, in a GMP environment
  • In-depth knowledge of chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, GC, UV/VIS, dissolution, Karl Fischer, and ideally particle size distribution
  • Proficiency in using GMP analytical software, preferably Waters Empower
  • An independent, proactive, and organized work style with a strong sense of priorities and deadlines
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as a confident demeanor when collaborating with various stakeholders
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • High flexibility, initiative, and the ability to maintain a clear overview even in a fast-paced environment

  • Minimum gross salary of €3,395.16 (based on a full-time position of 38 hours per week, under the collective bargaining agreement for the chemical industry); willingness to offer a higher salary depends on qualifications and professional experience
