Our client is one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies and a major manufacturer of pharmaceuticals. At its site in Krems an der Donau, the company operates a central production facility focused on animal health. Using state-of-the-art technologies and manufacturing processes, the facility produces bacterial and viral antigens as well as vaccines for veterinary medicine. Approximately 300 employees work at this site in the areas of laboratory, production, administration, and sales.
We are looking for motivated high school and college students to fill internships in the areas of Quality Control, Site Engineering, or Production Support (Blending & Filling) at our facility in Krems an der Donau during the summer months.
Your tasks:
INTERNSHIP IN QUALITY CONTROL:
- Duration: August through September
- Supporting laboratory tasks in chemistry and biochemistry, such as preparing solutions
- Microbiological and Analytical Monitoring
- Water Testing
- Membrane filtration
- Conductivity measurement
- pH measurements
- Endotoxin measurements
INTERNSHIP IN SITE ENGINEERING: - Duration: June–August
- Document Archiving and Digitization
- Assistance in conducting training activities in collaboration with subject-matter experts
INTERNSHIP IN PRODUCTION SUPPORT – BLENDING & FILLING: - Support for trend analysis in the process control system (PCS7)
- Assistance in creating graphical process overviews (Picasso), including the mapping of process paths
- Assistance in drafting and finalizing key protocols
- Support for the MEDS Document Management System
Your profile:
- Currently pursuing a degree in chemistry, pharmacy, or the natural sciences (technical college, university of applied sciences, or university)
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Accurate, independent and structured way of working
- Reliability and a strong sense of self-motivation
- Minimum age: 18
- Availability for the duration of the internship in the summer (full-time, 38 hours per week)
