We are currently seeking a Digital Restaurant Operations Specialist (m/f/d) for our client, one of the world’s best-known brands and a leader in the restaurant chain industry, to support the Austrian headquarters team located south of Vienna.
This role is based in the Technology department and involves operational system configuration, master data management, campaign setup, and quality assurance for the digital restaurant and ordering systems.
We are looking for a structured, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy individual who enjoys working independently, has a passion for complex processes and data logic, and wants to be part of a dynamic, motivated team.
This position is particularly well-suited for candidates with experience in the restaurant industry, retail, FMCG, or POS/master data management.
Your tasks:
- Configuration of product master data, menus, prices, images, modifiers, and operating hours in the restaurant and POS systems
- Mapping of product, bundle, and menu logic across different channels (POS, kiosk, mobile app, delivery)
- Ensuring that products and promotions function correctly across all digital ordering channels
- Support for kitchen workflow and production processes through the appropriate kitchen systems
- QA/testing of campaigns, product changes, and system modifications in test environments
- Conducting operational tests to ensure that processes run smoothly at the register, kiosk, app/delivery, and in the kitchen
- Documentation and tracking of findings, as well as coordination with relevant departments
- Accurate and consistent data management throughout the entire process and supply chain
- Close collaboration with marketing, operations, supply chain, and technology partners
- Actively contributing to a seamless, high-quality guest experience across all ordering channels
Your profile:
- Business or technical training, as well as relevant work experience in a similar role, is preferred
- Alternatively, candidates with a background in institutional food service, retail, FMCG, or highly process-oriented fields
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and spreadsheets, as well as proficiency in using IT tools and working with structured data
- High precision and a structured approach to work, with an eye for detail
- A strong sense of personal responsibility and the ability to work independently
- Proficiency with systems and an interest in operational processes and complex logic
- Ability to coordinate multiple topics in a structured manner simultaneously
- Team-oriented approach combined with a hands-on attitude and flexibility
- A positive, motivated individual who enjoys working with others and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Experience in the foodservice industry or retail is a plus
