We are currently recruiting for a strategically important sales position in the Austrian market on behalf of our client, a leading international medical technology company.
The company is a global market leader in its industry and develops innovative solutions for acute and critical care medicine. It is known for its high-quality standards, an exceptionally strong product portfolio, and a modern, trust-based corporate culture that emphasizes personal responsibility.
We are seeking an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in selling medical devices to hospitals, who will be independently responsible for the Austrian market and will drive its long-term growth.
Your tasks:
• Strategic and operational responsibility for the entire Austrian market
• Establishing and developing long-term customer relationships in the hospital sector
• Collaborating with key contacts in intensive care medicine, cardiology, neurology, and nursing
• Selling complex medical technology systems, including accessories and consumables
• Managing complex sales processes involving multiple decision-makers
• Professional opportunity and pipeline management via Salesforce
• Representing the company at professional conferences and relevant industry events
• Close collaboration with internal sales teams to leverage cross-selling opportunities
Your profile:
• At least 7–10 years of sales experience in the medical devices sector
• Demonstrable success in sales to hospitals – a mandatory requirement
• Experience selling complex solutions and systems requiring extensive consultation
• Clinical understanding or experience with complex clinical sales processes is a plus
• Entrepreneurial, highly independent work style with a strong sense of responsibility
• Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
• Professional demeanor and strong customer focus
• Very good German and good English skills
