We are now looking for an experienced individual who will not only manage the workshop, but also develop it further.

Workshop Manager/Mechatronics (m/f/d)

Your mission

As a mechanic or workshop manager, you are the operational heart of our production.
You ensure that innovation is transformed into tangible quality.

You will be responsible for:

Operational workshop management

  • Daily and weekly planning, prioritization, and resource management
  • Close coordination with development and operations

Mechanical assembly & quality

  • Assembly and final assembly of components and systems
  • Function checks, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Structured documentation and quality tracking

Quality logic & structure

  • Introduction and further development of checklists and acceptance criteria
  • Establishment of traceability (serial numbers, logs, etc.)
  • Consistent implementation and further development of 5S

workshop organization

  • Tool and material management
  • Ensuring order, availability, and standards
  • Instruction and training of workshop employees: women

What you bring to the table

Essential items

  • 10–12+ years of experience in workshop, manufacturing, or assembly (mechanics/mechatronics)
  • Strong mechanical understanding (tolerances, reworking, repairs)
  • Understanding and experience in production planning and manufacturing processes
  • Leadership experience (team lead, shift supervisor, or similar)
  • Practice with 5S or structured workplace organization
  • Very good written and spoken German
  • English at least B2
  • Working style: neat, organized, reliable
  • Personality: friendly, open-minded, team-oriented
  • Hands-on mentality and startup/entrepreneurial spirit

Nice to have

  • Experience with FDM/FFF 3D printers (mechanics, maintenance, calibration, material handling)
  • Automation technology/BUS systems
  • Experience in apprentice training
  • Cut/Design
  • Electrical Design & Safety

remuneration

  • KV: Employees in trade and crafts (metalworking orientation)
  • Minimum base salary according to collective agreement for master craftsmen group M II Target gross annual salary: €55,000
  • We offer a significant salary above the standard rate depending on experience and responsibility.
